PEG is hosting a shoot in the desert and wants you to be a part of it! This community effort is an event for creatives, desert rats and anyone in between. The footage captured will feed the PEG launch video for 2020 in order to show the use case and durability of PEG Sticks. This event will have appearances from some of GoPro’s very own media team to help us capture the action.
How does this work?
All attendies will meet in Ocotillo the day of our shoot and turn in our Media Release Form. We’ll go over the goals for the shoot and make sure everyone (riders and shooters) are on the same page.
Once the action starts, we’ll have choreographed shots planned and executed as well as free time to allow for creativity and other ideas to play out. Content will be off-loaded to our main hub and backed up continuously throughout the shoot to avoid lost footage.
After everyone drives home, our team will assemble the best momements into a shareable folder and grant permission to attendies for download. We’ll create a 30 second highlight real for everyone to download as well.
Do I need to pay for anything?
Nope, this is a free event! We want everyone to join in on the good times. You may want to bring your own snacks and water though depending on how long you stay.
How much am I getting paid to ride/shoot?
Simply put, $0. Call it guerilla filming, but this is a passion project for us and is more on the side of run-and-gun. If you need help getting to the location or need gear to shoot with, hit us up in the Contact Page and we’ll try to pair you up with someone going.
Who gets the video/photo after the event?
EVERYONE! The entire goal of this shoot is to stoke everyone who is a part of it. We want people to contribute however they can and in return build up some portfolio work, post an insane Insta-Story, or advertise for the gear they were riding with. The media will be available shorty after our event via Dropbox for download.
