This mount caters to two main use-cases. The first case adds forward/backward mobility to the mounting location for a camera. This adapter allows the joining of Action Sticks together that would not normally reach based on their angle. Another case is a more permanent solution for repetitive activities. Adding this adapter to the end of a stick eliminates the need for a nut when fastening a camera since the threads are built into the adapter.
